Meet us at IGS UK Symposium, on the 28th of June 2022

Afitexinov will take part in the next event organized by IGS UK : the Sixth National Geosynthetics Symposium which theme is "Containment Engineering".

This technical seminar will explore how containment engineering principles applied to non waste applications can inform our practice, learn from experience outside of the UK to promote better design practice and innovation.

The symposium will be strongly practice focussed while informed by what is emerging from recent research, of interest to designers and practitioners in the field. Actual case histories from different countries will be presented, including best practices, cases where challenges have been encountered and non standard design approaches.

Applications in mining and extreme environmental settings will be also discussed during the symposium, as a lens to explore and possibly challenge standard engineering design practices.
